Good mornin'!
I hope y'all are having a great spring morning. My companion, Elder Bradshaw, says HI!
We had a really great week. We struggled to get in lessons once again, but we saw miracles and we know the Lord is helping us out everyday.
One of the miracles was out while we were tracting in a mostly American condo neighborhood. We knocked on a door that was potentially Hispanic and got no answer. Right behind us, we saw this Hispanic man walk down the road. We ran after him and ended up finding out he was from El Salvador and the missionaries had taught him for three months down there. He hadn't seen any missionaries out here in Virginia. We gave him a Book of Mormon because he left his down in El Salvador and we should be catching up with him next week.
Baby Shower! |
After weeks of dead ends and closed doors, the Lord showed us that there are lots of prepared people in the area. E** and M**, who we are continually teaching, had their baby this weekend. We started meeting with them at the perfect time in their lives. Their next goal is to get married, and baptism will shortly follow it. We are going to get back to teaching them when things calm down a bit. The branch is bringing over meals and just doing everything a missionary could ever want for their investigators.
I'm short on time, but I know that missionary work is hard and extremely rewarding.
I love you all,
Elder Remund
